On the Farm Week Part 3

On the Farm week comes to an end with some veggie activities! Today we’ll read about cows that type, grow our own carrot crop, sing with Tiny Pteranodon, and make some veggie stamps.

Carrot Top Garden

Farmers grow all kinds of crops, including vegetables like carrots. Now you can play farmer by growing your own crop using carrot tops! Click below for the directions and then share your gardening pictures to Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram using #HensonAtHome .

Veggie Stamps

Besides being delicious and nutritious, vegetables also make great painting tools! Cut shapes into a potato, carrot, celery bunch, or other vegetable. Then let your child experiment with printmaking by dipping the stamp into paint and pressing it onto paper. Click below for more details from Meri Cherry.
