Watch Together

In this clip from Splash and Bubbles, (“Melody’s Migration Vacation,”) Melody the fin whale explains why she does the hard work of migrating twice a year. After watching, you might ask your child:

  • What does migration mean?

  • Why does Melody migrate when it’s so hard?

  • Why couldn’t the other fish join Melody on her migration vacation?

  • What do you think krill tastes like?

Watch the clip here.

Your child can learn about migration using the free Splash and Bubbles Parents app! After downloading the app, tap on ‘activities,’ then search for the Migration Exploration activity. Explore the reasons animals migrate, upload pictures of migrating animals, and more!
