Fun with Water Part 2

Fun with Water week continues with all Fraggle-themed activities! Today we’ll dance our cares away with Fraggle Rock, use a “magical stick” to accompany us in a Fraggle song, and play two Fraggle games.

Watch Together

In this clip from Fraggle Rock, (“River of Life,” Season 5, Episode 5), the Fraggles decide to cool off on a hot day by going for a swim. After watching, you might ask your child:

• What happened to the water in the swimming hole?

• How will the Fraggles get more water?

• If that idea doesn’t work, is there another way the Fraggles could cool off?

• How does the water get from the sky all the way down to the Fraggles’ underground swimming hole?

Let’s Sing: Please/See/Feel the Water Run

Now it’s your turn to sing along with the Fraggles! Grab your sacred banging stick (umbrella) and follow the onscreen lyrics to join in the song. Once you know the song, you could even sing it in the tub, where you can really feel the water run!
