Bug Bonanza Part 3
Bug Bonanza week wraps up on an ‘antsy’ note! Today we’ll read a nonfiction book about ants, explore them in real life, play a fun letter-recognition game, and sing a silly song!
Cuddle Up and Read
Invite your child to choose a book to read together, whether it be bug-themed or an old favorite. Or listen to this read-aloud of Are You an Ant? by Judy Allen and Tudor Humphries. After watching, ask your child:
What parts of an ant’s life sound fun to you?
What doesn’t sound so fun?
After listening to this book, would you like to be an ant?
Is there another bug you’d like to be?
