Sea Creatures Week Part 1

There’s a lot of talk about sharks this week, and we’re joining in the fun with Sea Creatures Week! Today we’ll meet a Cretoxyrhina with Dinosaur Train, learn about shark survival features with Dr. Scott, make our own sea creatures, and read a book.

Watch Together

In this clip from Dinosaur Train, “What’s a Cretoxyrhina?”, the kids travel underwater to meet Carla Cretoxyrhina. After watching, you might ask your child:

  • What kind of animal was Cretoxyrhina?

  • What were some of Cretoxyrhina’s features?

  • Do you think Carla Cretoxyrhina will be friendly?

Watch the clip here.
