Watch Together

In this episode of Pajanimals, (Season 1, Episode 14: ”Oops!”), Squacky learns how to listen to his body so he can sleep without a diaper. After watching, you might ask your child:

  • Why did Squacky feel sad?

  • What could Squacky do next time that might help him not have an accident?

  • What do you think it means to listen to your body?

Watch the episode here.

Make a “Mini Me” Snack

All bodies need fuel to keep moving, and that means having a yummy snack when you’re hungry! Try these “mini-me” snack ideas from Cute Creative and Fun. You can use cheese, crackers, fruit, or other favorite foods to create a model of your body out of food. Don’t forget to taste test it afterward!

Rub a Dub.jpg

Let’s Sing: Rub-A-Dub Song

(From Preschool Express)
Tune: “Here We Go ‘Round the Mulberry Bush”

This is the way we scrub our arms, scrub our arms, scrub our arms.
This is the way we scrub our arms, when we take a bath.

This is the way we scrub our legs, scrub our legs, scrub our legs.
This is the way we scrub our legs, when we take a bath.

This is the way we scrub our stomachs, scrub our stomachs, scrub our stomachs,
This is the way we scrub our stomachs, when we take a bath.

Repeat, substituting other body parts.

Sing along here.
