Great Outdoors Week Part 2

Great Outdoors week continues! Today we’ll learn about dirt with Sid the Science Kid, become dirt detectives, read a book about trees, and do a nature name activity.

Watch Together

In this episode of Sid the Science Kid, (Season 1, Episode 28: “The Dirt on Dirt,”) Sid learns all about dirt. After watching, you might ask your child:

  • What is another word for dirt?

  • What does dirt have in it?

  • What could you do if you find trash in the dirt?

  • Can you think of any animals who like dirt?
